Painted Pony Mosaic

This mosaic was created to show the symbolism for the indian war horse. The thunderbolt on the horses forehead was thought to give the horse great speed for example. The ring around the eye was for great vision. This was designed based on the trail of the painted pony. I made the frame from aspen wood and it is stained in java. It measures 15" x 24" x 2" deep.
